Always a pleasure. Wonderful staff. Marina cleaned my teeth. She asked me pertinent questions regarding myself to make sure that my teeth were in the best shape they could be. She truly cares, and is an excellent hygienist. She does an outstanding job. I left the appointment feeling my teeth were extremely clean. Marina also made sure that I had the knowledge how to keep up with my own cleaning and routine at home until my next visit.

I’m a longtime patient of Dr. Lim and for good reason, great service! Great staff! They care about their patients. Marina has been my hygienist for over 20 years and while I no longer live in the Glenview area since 2000 I still travel to Glenview 4 times a year for my dental care at Eric Lim’s office. If you want great service I highly recommend the services of Dr Lim and staff.

I came for a periodic dental exam but was disappointed to never see the dentist, as I usually did during such exams. The staff took X-rays, I guess, but I did not receive much feedback, and don't believe that my teeth were cleaned. In the past, my teeth were usually cleaned, as well. I guess that I must not have any cavities or other problems, but I did not receive any confirmation of that as in the past. I would have liked to have had the dentist do an exam, as well, which is what I had expected when I made the appointment. And, I wish that I would have received some feedback from the dentist about the status of my teeth. In the past, the dentist always did a review of my mouth and teeth, as well. I had thought that the appointment was to be with the dentist, not just the staff.

I can’t believe that going to the dentist actually makes me smile. Glenlake Dental does it each and every time. I went for a cleaning and exam this time. Marina is very friendly and very professional. Her gentle touch and thoroughness keeps my pearlies clean and shiny and most importantly cavity free. Dr Lim is amazing with his immaculate chair side manners. He has been treating my family teeth for decades now. We moved to Lake Zurich 7 years ago, but didn’t find any other dentist who is better than him. So we still come to GDC even though it is 45 min away. I love the office. The charges are reasonable, the quality of services are beyond high standards. Thanks guys for our healthy mouths.

Always a great experience with Dr Lim. I often have a list of questions for Dr Lim on the latest technology of thoughts on dentistry, and he always takes the time to sit down and answer my questions in depth. He's patient and a strong communicator. Plus, the staff at the office are nice and efficient for appointments, check-in, and payment on the way out.

Dr. Lim and Marina took care of me for this, my biannual cleaning and check up visit. As usual, both of them were professional knowledgeable, and kept me informed about what they were doing and what they notice. Due to much of the previous experiences with them and their associates over the years everything they built. They explored or investigated in my teeth and related health issues were free of any negativity. I continue to be very satisfied and pleased that I met them both years ago and I am able to continue on as a very satisfy client.

One or two -by no means all- of the front desk/phone staff could be friendlier and less blunt and curt. This behavior can come off as rude and can be a turnoff. Patients have many choices, and the front office face of the dentist makes a difference to them. Kindness and a smile go a long way. The quality of care by Dr Lim and his dental professionals is not included in these remarks and is typically quite competent.

I have been Dr Lim’s patient for several years I find him and his staff very efficient and courteous. Dr Lim is gentle with giving anesthetic and works fast once the the area is numb to prevent pain. I have never had a bad experience at Glenlake dental. I highly recommend Dr Lim and staff.

Not exactly thrilled as i scheduled an appointment after multiple texts saying i was overdue. As i am doing Invisalign i made an appointment to have them check my progress. Figuring that this was part of the somewhat expensive cost of the Invisalign and after 5 mins in the chair my appointment was finished and was expected to pay for the visit . Disappointed that this was seen as a checkup

I'm very skeptical, but very good care here! They checked my teeth, gums and X-rays, and informed me of the information I needed (information about my nasal causing me tooth sensitivity, not the other way around). Also, checked my teeth and gave me the best care, advice, and a good cleaning and fluoride treatment, and sent my X-rays to my email quickly for my record keeping...Definitely recommend them and will go back as the Dentist/doctor (Eric Lim) was very knowledgeable and helpful, and concerned for my well being as well as the staff there. Also, speak to Tamara Zivkovic, and she will get you to the right personnel to help with your issues.

As always, excellent service from the friendly staff at this top notch group. The space is clean and spacious. The providers are all gentle, qualified and professional. I've been using this group for myself and my family for twenty years. The current head of the group Dr. Lim joined as a young partner twenty years ago when I first started as a patient so I can attest that he has plenty of experience. I've never had a problem with billing and they are up-to-date with the latest messaging via email or text so I never have to worry about scheduling or missing an appointment. I really like the digital x-ray machine they have as well; no more holding the uncomfortable weird tray in your mouth! I highly recommend Marina for your cleanings and preventative care.

Emergency services Gold crown made 25 years ago by my former dentist came off Wednesday night. I left voice mail and e-mail message for office that night. Was contacted by the office the next morning and provided with an appointment that day (Thursday). Doctor examined tooth and there was no decay and crown still fit so he re-cemented crown.
This office treats you honestly and professionally regardless of whether you need an old crown re-cemented or a new crown made.

I was looking to do invisalign and found good reviews on zocdoctor. I went in for a consultation with Dr. Lim and he explained to me that it would be for my benefit to do braces. Dr Lim was knowledgeable and friendly, the service was great and I didn't have to wait at all to see him, so I decided to make glenlake my primary dentist that day. I go there regularly for checkups and cleaning, I get in quick and the staff are competent and good at what they do. I definitely recommend you give them a chance if you need help!

The people in the office are all very friendly, however when I called to ask how much a cleaning would cost out of pocket, I was told it was $89. When they presented me the bill it was $117. Upon questioning that amount I was told that the exam cost extra. I did not appreciate that. How was I supposed to know the exam is NOT part of the cleaning?? Further questioning that, I was told by the receptionist, that I had only asked for the price of the cleaning (although I had told her I had no insurance and that’s why I wanted to keep the cost down) She also told me I had already received a discount on the exam. ( Not really the point! The point is, if you quote a price, you should make sure you honor it and don’t provide extra services before checking if that is acceptable)

I go here for regular checkups. They are always on time and very nice people. I recently had some tooth pain. They got me in right away, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote, and did the work all in about a half hour. So happy to have an awesome dental office so close to where I live.

I'm pretty self conscious about my teeth but I felt very comfortable with both the dentist and hygienist. The dentist was very good at explaining what he was checking and then reviewing everything with me. I appreciated that the hygienist went over things with the dentist prior to my cleaning and she was very helpful in going over my daily cleaning routine and what things my help me keep my teeth healthy.

August 2020. Three visits. New patient. Senior citizen (bioscience researcher - retd.). Over one year since last dental visit due to move from Atlanta to North Shore Chicago area/lockdown. Reassuring of status and and needs with emphasis on retaining and maintaining remaining teeth. No "up-sell." Third visit: Exceptional cleaning by Katie, with helpful suggestions for in-home cleaning and rinsing with non-alcoholic anti-cavity mouthwash to nurture gums. Dr. Lim fit me into his busy schedule when I called in for an extremely painful tooth. I was scheduled for a cleaning during the shutdown. Once the practice opened again, I was able to get a future appointment and I had them put me on the waiting list. I received a call within 2 days of making the appointment to let me know that they had a cancellation and I was able to receive the service a month ahead of the scheduled appointment. Glenlake is a lean mean sales machine.. They have "sales meetings" every morning to go over each patient for the day and decide what they can try to "sell " them. By being overly friendly they hope to make their sales pitch palatable. They tried to sell me at least 3 procedures that, upon consultation with other dentists, I did not really need. My last straw with them ( I have moved on to another dentist) was when they offered to do two fillings for about $460 (after the "wonderful" patient discount). After googling the reasonable price of $200-250 for such a procedure I did a little shopping. Two dentists offered $285 and $310. I had the work done at $310.00

The folks that worked with my kids on their first visit to your office were great. Katie did an especially great job of communicating and following up and the kids had good experiences. That goes a long way!
My only frustration is the hours available for follow up work. My daughter has a small cavity, and getting that scheduled was an ordeal. The dentist that handles those cases only has availability Friday and Saturday; my expectation when I moved my kids to this office was that they would have the same scheduling access as I do. Between odd hours and holidays the next available time wasn't until almost January. Instead I'm going to have to miss work and take my daughter out of school to make an appointment happen in a more timely way, which is frustrating. Knowing this I would not recommend Glenlake Dental Care for kids.

I literally just sat down in the waiting room when Dr. Lim's friendly assistant very politely called me back. I reluctantly followed her to the chair where I was to get two crowns. Seconds later Dr. Lim was ready to get to work. He politely explained to me exactly how the procedure was to be performed. Without any pain whatsoever, Dr. Lim and his assistant had expertly completed both crowns in about an hour.
If you are considering a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Lim and his team.

The dentist was in/out in 2 minutes. Is the dentist's role to pop in and take a look around for big issues then leave? I don't know what questions to ask about getting older and dental health. It was extremely hurried, impersonal, and less than patient centric.

Dr. Nouneh had the unenvious task of pulling a large molar. He did it with aplomb. Filled in the hole and I was out in half hour with minimal discomfort. Experienced oral surgeon. Today is the first day after the surgery and no discomfort to speak of. Amazing.

He made an unfortunate situation bearable! I had to have 2 teeth removed and 2 bone grafts. I expected to be terribly swollen and in pain afterwards but was pleasantly surprised when the swelling was minimal and the pain just a little jaw discomfort! He did a great job!

Lauren has been cleaning my family's teeth for mote than two years. She is very gentle when cleaning our teeth. We are very happy with her cleaning our teeth. One area I suggest improving is your front staff. I had called the front desk yesterday to call and tell them I was running ten minutes late. That message never made it to Lauren, which resulted in her calling home asking if I was going to come. Better communication is needed between the staff. But overall we are happy with the dentists.

Marina cleaned my teeth thoroughjly. She answered questions as, I noticed she had worked extra long in her work on my teeth. She said I needed to brush longer. I knew I needed to change my technique. She also diagnosed that I had dry mouth problems. I was aware but didn't realized the importance of teeth care because of this. Wish I had been explained to about the side effects of the medication I was taking. Now I know. I will tell my doctor who prescribed the medication.

Dr Nouneh and his assistant were fantastic. I take a little longer than most to "numb up" and Dr Nouneh was paitient as usual giving me a little extra time. The implant went in just fine and I am virtually pain free the morning after.

I have been a patient of Glenlake Dental since 1998 and I continue to this day. Why? Because the experience is always a very pleasant one, they are like family to me. Marina has personally been my hygienist since 2001, she knows my history and what treatments I need for a healthy mouth. I live in Lake Villa, but I make the trek to Glenview every 3 months for my appointments, their rates are reasonable, the staff and Doctors are great. If my experience was not great all the time I certainly would not go back. Simply put, I trust them!

The cleaning is not as thorough as other providers I had before. She did not go through each teeth as I normally expect. After the cleaning, my teeth just did not feel like "just cleaned" as I normally did from previous dental cleanings.

Very professional dental office with an outstanding dentist. The entire staff is warm and very kind to the patients.I have been a patient of Dr. Lim's for over 10 years. When I came to him both my husband Gerry, and I had huge problems from our previous dentist.It took a few years, a lot of long hours of difficult work, and a dentist with the knowledge and expertice that Dr. Lim has to get our teeth fixed. Gerry and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Our teeth not only look great, but the pain is gone! Our entire family go to Dr. Lim. My time was asked to be changed to earlier and they didn't get me in at the right time. Their equipment didn't work right and I wasnt told about any changes in doctors until I got there. The doctor looked at my x-rays and didn't even look in my mouth like the doctors before who checked things out. Nothing is ever how I expect when I go. I am definitely searching for a new dentist.

I went in for my routine cleaning . I had a great experience . My dental hygienist was Renata again who my family just loves as she does a gentle and thorough job cleaning so we always request her . I tend to have a lot of anxieties going to dentist chair but Renata is calming . Dr Lim's new associate dentist I don't remember her name but it was so nice that she remembered my name and says hi Tiffany when I was on my way out .

Dr. Lim did an excellent job in doing needed work on multiple teeth. When we first talked about doing all of the work at one sitting, I was very apprehensive, and a bit overwhelmed. Dr. Lim completed the work painlessly and in less than an hour. I was amazed at how smoothly the whole process went. I am equally impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the office staff, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. My previous dentist of nearly 25 years has retired, and I have been worried about finding someone whom I could trust to replace his service. I am so happy that I have found such a fine place to go to for future dental care.

Surgery yesterday was tough. The doctor made it as tolerable as possible for one and half hours. Not sure you would recommend this to anyone. My best advice is have your wisdom teeth out ASAP and floss.

I really liked how they would check with my insurance and advise me of my costs in advance, so I could make choices. No end-of-appointment sticker shock at Glenlake Dental. Excellent! My dentist, Dr. John Sullivan, is an artist. After 68 yrs (I began at age 5) of dental care, his touch is unmistakable and all revealing. Further more, he cares. After 6 yrs with Glenlake Dental and consultations with the owner, Dr Afsali, about my dental health, I understand why the esprit de corps, which inudates Glenlake's entire staff, is so obvious - and attractive. I feel very good about my dental care at Glenlake. One can find dental care as well else where, but better care? I don't think so.

This is a complete care office. I have gone to Dr. Sullivan for years and find he is one of the best dentists I have ever had. The staff is very good, too, and attentive to your needs. They make every effort to see that you are as comfortable as possible in a very uncomfortable procedure. Yesterday, Dr. Sullivan replaced my last amalgam filling. It was in a back tooth, and it had not been replaced before because the previous dentist was afraid what was left of the tooth would break if she tried to remove the filling. Dr. Sullivan was confident he could replace the filling without loosing the tooth, and he did.
Also, I have a gap between my back tooth and gum. Dr. Sullivan recommended that I see the periodontist that practices with them. I'm not too excited to see a periodontist, so I just didn't make an appointment. When I came back to get my filling replaced, he reminded me to make the appointment. So I did. I have had other dentists who would not even mention it again, so even though I don't want to see a periodontist, it is good that the dentist has enough care that he reminds me that I should go.
I went there years ago, but found the staff rather, umm..., abrupt. That has changed, and the staff is now very friendly.

I hadn't been to a dentist in about 5-6 years. So, I was extremely nervous going in. After meeting and talking to Dr. Sullivan, I was sold that I had made the right decision to choose Glenlake Dental Care. Dr.Sullivan and his team did a careful evaluation and explained each procedure to me. I felt absolutely comfortable. Every time I sit down to relate my experience at Glenlake Dental, I become a little frustrated. All I hear in my head is superlatives which, if the experience wasn't mine, I may find hard to believe. Of course it is the Doctors, who work on keeping my teeth in my head, that constitute the rock-solid success of G-L D, and without which all the other good things to be said about the people/staff that operate G-L D wouldn't matter. Your Doctors of dentistry fill me with confidence. They are more that professional. They are artists. That said, every member of the G-L D team is (how do I say) on the ball; take care of biz flawlessly, and add to the over-all enjoyable experience. I like them. Aand dare I tell the public of the over-the-top considerations you have given me? - such as the day Anna came to pick me up and drive me home because my auto was in the shop. I called that day for I may have been late as I had to walk. G-L D offered to picked me up knowing I was weak having been recently released from the hospital. Who does that?

Have been a patient of Glenlake Dental Care for at least 15-20 years. The quality of service has always been excellent. Came in today for my usual check up and had lost a filling for a second time due to being old and quite large. Discussion and explanation determined that a crown was the best way to go and they took the time to get the preparation and mold for the crown was done so next visit will be just to install the final crown in 2 weeks. I have seen this practice grow from a small dentist office to a full service organization. Would recommend them to anyone and have whenever I have heard anyone in need of a dentist locally.

Dr. Lim is great! He has replaced two fillings for me - one of which was a botched job from my previous dentist. He is a very competent, efficient, and excellent dentist. Marina is an excellent hygienist too. I never knew that cleanings didn't have to be painful!
Don't expect bells and whistles here (tv screens, headsets, etc.). What you will get, however, is pain-free, excellent work that is done properly.

On both occasions I have visited Glenlake Dental Care I have left feeling confident that my issues were being addressed by competent, friendly and caring people. My 9 year old can be a bit nervous about having her teeth cleaned (fear of unknown :)) She not only had her teeth cleaned yesterday, but Doctor Sullivan expertly bonded a chip on her front tooth. It looks completely natural and best of all, she was not scared!

I have nothing but praise for the dentists, hygienists, assistants and technicians as well as the helpful office personnel at Glenlake. I have been with them for years. They keep me on track with routine check-ups and cleaning, and I have been very pleased with the results of special needs such as gum treatments and Invisalign. They don't recommend procedures I don't need, and they do a great job with the ones I do need. We are like old friends by now!

I saw both Drs. Lim and Nouney today. My situation with my teeth involved both my tooth and my gums. Being able to see a dentist and a periodontist at the same time is terrific. They worked together to solve my problem. In addition, their work is outstanding. Unfortunately,I am a regular at the dentist!
The office staff is warm and friendly, and very professional.
My entire family has gone to this practice for years now. When my mother died last year, Dr. lim personally called me to say how sorry he was and tell me how much he liked my mom. When I came into the office, all the staff also offered me condolences. They are decent people. They are also a wonderful dental office. I highly recommend that anyone in need of a dentist or periodontist give them a try.

I have been a patient of Glenlake Dental for more than 7 years and I am obviously satisfied with my experience.
My usual Hygenist, Marina. Is not only effective but she is patient and always reinforcing and encouraging me to work harder at my oral hygiene. Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Lee are caring professionals with great "chair-side" manners.

The care I received at Glenlake Dental Care was excellent. The staff is knowledgeable about insurance issues and is able to coordinate services so that the patient is able to get the most value out of their insurance coverage.
Doctor Lim and the dental hygenist took good care of me and made sure all of my needs were met. I will definitely come back to them and will recommend them to anyone needing dental care.

Very personable. Very up-to-date with 2012 communication and equipment. Clever way of introducing business to public, and then not disappointing with the introductory appointment. No gimmicks. Just great merchandising. Well worth a try. Very competitively priced. Hooray. Wonderful location with adequate parking.

I haven't seen a dentist for some time now. I've always felt really uncomfortable or scared to go see one. Being that it is an absolute necessity to take care of your teeth, I did some research online for dentists that come highly recommended. I was looking for merit and awards, things that make people stand out in there work. Fortunately, I discovered Dr. Eric Lim. My very first experience with Glenlake Dental Care was very thorough and professional. The entire staff made it a point to be polite, compassionate, and very clear about everything that they were going to do and how it was going to be done. 1.00pm appt... the sessions went great, the lamp that whittened my teeth made my face red, which is common sitting there for 45 minutes... the heat kept the sensetivity away, but when i got home after 2 hours the sensetivity pain started kicking in, had to work that night but couldnt handle it, came home and couldnt sleep all night. the pain lasted untill 6.00am but i had to hold a towel at my mouth to keep it warm that way the pain was just half. i gave it 4.5 due to the pain but the pain is gone now and i have pretty white teeth :)... i guess it was worth it...

I have been a patient of Glenlake Dental since 1998 when my business was right down the street from their office. I no longer have an office in Glenview since 2007 when decided to work from my home in Lake Villa, IL. I'm still a patient of Glenlake, every 3 months I drive 37 miles for my appointment. There's only one reason I continue as a patient, it is simply because of the excellent service, especially my hygienist Marina, the friendly staff and doctors at Glenlake Dental. I'm sure there are many dentists in my area but I have no reason for me to change dentist, because I'm very happy with the service I receive as a patient and their service is reasonably priced. It is really nice to walk in an office and the whole staff knows who you are, that is personal to me as so much of that is missing from other service businesses especially banks. That's why I continue with Glenlake Dental. Keep up the excellent service guys!

I have very challenging dental issues and I have been very pleased with the quality of dental care I have recieved. Dr. Lim is very thorough. After falling and knocking out 3 of my front teeth, he cosmetically repaired them to be better than new. He helped me make lemonade out of that lemon.

I enjoyed my overall experience at Glenlake Dental Care. The staff was friendly and caring. It took very long to get a cleanup and exam, about 2 hours, and had to wait a lot, but overall it was a great experience. Plus, I came out with

The dental services for the office are exceptional, they take time to examine your dental needs, explain them help you plan the services to fit your schedule and a method of payment that is suitable to your budget. I had an office in Glenview, but it is now closed and I live further north (35 miles) of Glenview but I choose to continue to use Glenlake dental instead of finding a new dental office in my area. i haven't been at the dentist for a little over a year, so I came to Glenlake Dental to do my routine cleaning. The front desck people were very nice and helpful, the wait was minimum. I drink a lot og coffe pluss I'm a smoker, so for the hole year i had a lot of plague and tarder on my teeth.
after the cleaning was done, I could,t beleave that it was just a cleaning that was done, my smile became much brighter. I'm very thankful to Glenlake Dental team.

It was very difficult to leave my dentist of 30 years and find a new one. Insurance had changed and therefore so did I. Glenlake has proven to be very professional, complete on their exams and extremely accomodating in scheduling. I've had many fillings over the years and have had some difficulties with remaining numb throughout the procedures. I mentioned my past sensitivity to Dr. Lim prior to beginning and he assured me that he would make every effort to make sure I would be comfortable. Not only was the procedure pain free but also very efficient. I was on my way in about 30 minutes. Probably my best experience to date.

i am very pleased to report that I have been to Glenlake Dental several times now and they are consistently friendly, courteous, on-time, and truly caring. They run a very efficient office and are very professional, and yet warm and kind.
