Ilana Birg, D.D.S.
Dr. Afzali is a graduate of University of Missouri at
Kansas City dental school, one of the best in the country. She has been a
dentist for years and has been through several post graduate courses in
different fields of dentistry since receiving her D.D.S. degree.
Her
emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest
advancements in dentistry enable her to provide her patients with the best
quality of care in the field. Dr. Afzali has a wide range of experience in
different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to
surgical treatments and root canal treatments. |

Dr. Eric Lim graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in
Chicago, Illinois in 1999 with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery where he
received the Gilbert J. Brinsden Award in Fixed Prosthodontics for
excellence in the area of crowns and bridges. He continued his education in
the following year by completing a specialized dental training residency at
Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Prior to starting his
dental education, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from
Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. As a member of the Academy of
General Dentistry, he has completed nearly 500 hours of continuing
education. |
He enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry; however he has gained
extensive interest and experience in the areas of full mouth rehabilitation,
implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Lim has been practicing as a general dentist at Glenlake Dental Care
since year 2000. High professionalism and unique personal care best describe
this doctor. His goal is to provide the best dental care to each patient
with compassion. "I always try to create a comfortable
and pleasant experience for my patients at each appointment."
He is happily married and has one son. Besides his passion for
dentistry, he enjoys taking trips with his family, being active in the local
church, playing the guitar, playing softball, and golfing.
Dr. Ilana Birg completed her dental education at the
prestigious Loyola University School of Dentistry where she received a
Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993 where she was in the Honor's
Dental Program. Prior to Dental School, she completed the dental hygiene
program at Loyola University. Dr. Birg has been working in private
practice in the Chicagoland area since 1993.
Dr. Birg has taken a wide rang of post-graduate
coursework in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, dental implants,
ceramics and veneer restorations as well as occlusion with experts from
across the county bringing her patients the most advanced techniques
available
Her philosophy is to provide excellent restorative
and preventative dental care, which includes empowering patients through
education to make smart decisions about their oral health and esthetics,
to treat patients in a, comfortable and relaxing setting using the most
advanced techniques and to develop long-lasting relationships and trust
with patients. Her gentle touch make her patients experience as pleasant
as possible.
She offers her patients at Glenlake Dental Care a
unique combination of skill, esthetics and compassion and is dedicated
to excellence in dental care, helping each patient achieve the smile
they've always wanted.
Dr. Birg is happily married and is the mother of
three beautiful children, she enjoys spending time with her family and
friends, traveling, taking nature walks, photography and gardening.
